Password: XXXXX
XXXXX = 5 digit troop number
Editing Information
 Update contact information by selecting “troops”
icon
 Notices are sent through the nut-E site
• Select with or without recognitions and save
Entering Girl Orders
• Follow steps 1 to 3 after
clicking “Girl Orders” icon
• Girl payments option available
• Because of the link between
the girl’s online orders and
Nut E, Troop managers cannot
manually add girls to the
system. Council will upload
girls names several times. If a
girl is not in the NUT E system
and has online orders, please
contact community
coordinator for further
instructions. After final
upload, troops will be able to
enter any missing girls and
their orders.
• Troops will be able to move items from troop special to girls through November
20th. Rewards will automatically be calculated. Any add’l sales per girl after that
date – troops need to keep track of any additional rewards have been earned by girl.
Entering Girl Orders
Once the order is entered, the incentives populate automatically.
At any incentive level where there is a choice, Nut-E has a default choice.
This is changeable until the troop order is submitted. TPSM can pre-select
where there is a choice if its anticipated girl might reach that reward level
Entering Girl Orders
Please hit SAVE after all the girl’s product has been entered
Entering Girl Orders
 REPEAT STEP 3 FOR ALL ADDITIONAL GIRLS
 OPTION TO ENTER GIRL PAYMENTS
 CLICK “ADD TROOP SPECIAL ORDER” TO PRE-ORDER BOOTH SALE PRODUCT
 CLICK “SUBMIT” BUTTON WHEN YOU’RE SATISFIED EVERYTHING IS COMPLETE
Viewing Reports
T2 Reports show total troop
sales and balance due
G1 & G2 show individual
girls sales or recognitions
 Have parents sign for product when picking up
 I recommend printing Girl Order Summary – Nuts/Candy spreadsheet to have
them sign.
 Nut-E manual is available for help!
Bank Deposits
• Only Coordinators can record deposits into nut-E.
• Troop Manager is responsible for depositing $$ in correct bank accounts.
• We pay girls (troop) first – as you collect money, take CASH first (in the amount of troop
proceeds) and deposit into TROOP bank account. The balance you have left when you
have collected all monies should equal money due council - deposit in council’s account at
TD bank.
• BANK RECEIPTS: get 2 from troop bank (1 stays with you – 1 to troop leader/treasurer) Get
3 receipts from TD (1 stays with you – 2 copies to Coordinator)

Safety And Some Final Tips
• Girls must be clearly identified as Girl Scouts by wearing their vest/sash.
• Girls must be escorted by an adult (18+) when taking orders.
• Girls must not enter a home when order taking.
• Customers should fill in the form.
• Keep order form neat
• Do your training with girls and parents Give out the order card when
you receive the signed permission slip.
• Check that parents added up items correctly
• Parents should circle the incentives (if daughter has reached a level with
a choice) on card – no room for mistake this way
• Give out the money envelope when the parent picks up her nut order.
Write the first name only on envelope with Troop number, the amount
due and date the money is due
• To avoid misunderstanding, count the money in the presence of the
parent. Give a receipt.
Thank you
for all you do with Girl
Scouts of the Jersey
Shore!

After final upload, troops will be able to enter any missing girls and their orders. • Troops will be able to move items from troop special to girls through November 20th. Write the first name only on envelope with Troop number, the amount due and date the money is due • To avoid misunderstanding, count the money in the presence of the parent. Give a receipt.
