Dr. Ghaiath Hussein is a Sudanese medical doctor and bioethicist with experience in public health. After obtaining his MBBS degree from Al-Zaem Al-Azhary University (Sudan), he had a master in bioethics from the University of Toronto (Canada) and PhD in bioethics from the University of Birmingham (UK). Dr. Ghaiath Hussein has also worked in the Directorate General for Health Planning and Research at the Federal Ministry of health (Sudan) where he has worked closely with the National Health Research Committee in Sudan. He has worked in Darfur, west Sudan as a field supervisor in the Crude Mortality Survey, as the State Manager of the Sudan Health Household Survey in South Da.
