BIS-B connectivity: allows your applications to connect through the BlackBerry infrastructure to provide seamless network connectivity across all carriers and countries. (Not exactly all, but about 95%+) Web signals: think about the push weather icon as an example. Allows content providers to promote their web applications by placing an icon on the users BlackBerry homescreen. Clicking it will take the user directly to the content provider's website. The real value of web signals is that it also provides alerting capabilities to the user, by changing the icon image or title so the user is notified that there is new content available on the web application. Another example is sports scores. Code signing keys: some of the more interesting BlackBerry java APIs require BlackBerry code signing before the application can be installed and run on a device. Usually developers can purchase code signing keys for us$20 but for partner who we work with already, we can waive this fee. Extra info: Code signing keys do not expire and you only need to sign your app once and then it can be installed on as many devices as you like.
