expressarmos uma ação que estava
ocorrendo no passado.
Forma Básica:
Subject + WAS/WERE + Verb (continuous form)
Sujeito Verbo com ING
Verbo “to be” no passado

2- They were learning English.
3- I was riding a bike yesterday.
4- You were doing your homework.
5- I was reading a book in the last week.
6- They were wearing jeans pants yesterday.

Afirmativa
Subject + Was/Were + Verb+ING
He, She, A Dog, etc.. Walking, Going, Talking...

Negativa:
Subject + Wasn’t/Weren’t + Verb+ING
Example:
We weren't playing football
