Highlights of Indochina Adventure Tour
Tour Overview:
This trip includes an adventure tour to Sapa
with a trek through the hills and valleys of the
Sapa region, discovering several different
minorities along the way. At an elevation of
1,600 meters, Sapa is a delightful former
French hill station situated in the mountainous
region of Vietnam's northwest, close to the
Chinese border. Next, you spend 2 days
trekking through the growing forest, then
entering the minority villages and mountains of
the Pha Pon Golden Mountain and designed for
moderately active people who love getting into the great outdoors. This is the light trek,
and not challenging. And then, we continue the trip to Cambodia with some interesting
adventure activities.

Tour itinerary:
Day 1: Hanoi arrival
Arriving at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, our Driver will pick you up and transfer to your
hotel. You relax after your long journey.
In the evening, you can go for a performance of traditional Water Puppetry, an art form
unique to northern Vietnam, and a good, light-hearted introduction to its rural culture
(option). You will over night in hotel in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi discovery – Night train to Sapa (B, L)
After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up and transfer to visit Temple of Literature,
the first university in Vietnam dating back to the 11th century, and a popular attraction,
as is Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant before drive
back to downtown for refreshment by Hoan Kiem Lake with a cup of tea or coffee. The
tour is followed by 1 hour drive on cyclo to observe the daily life of Hanoian, along the
narrow and bustling streets. Most of them are named starting with “Hang” plus the
current on sale goods. Dinner is for your choice.
7h30pm, our guide will take you to train station for night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on
train.
Day 3: Lao Cai Station – Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B, D)
Upon arrival in Sapa Town we have breakfast in local restaurant, enjoy Sapa pure
atmosphere. Then, in the afternoon, prepare for a great trek down to the picturesque
valley of Muong Hoa. We will walk on small paths and trails to reach Lao Chai and
Tavan Village to visit the Tay and Day tribes, where we will have unique homestay
experience among hill tribe people, dinner and over night in the local house.
Day 4: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Sapa (B, L, D)
In the morning, you leave for Giang Ta Chai village of Red Dao minority. You will trek
through bamboo forest which belongs to Hoang Lien National Park. On the way you will
find a nice place to enjoy lunch, after lunch, going up to the main road where you will be
picked up by jeep. Ride back to Sapa and you might stop some times on the way to take
photos of the fabulous valley of Sapa. Check in Chau long hotel. Enjoy the night in the
cloud town.
Day 5: Sapa – Cat Cat – Sin Chai – Lao Cai Station – Overnight train back to Hanoi
(B, L)
Sunrise buffet breakfast, you will follow a road going downhill to Cat Cat village. You
will stop by a waterfall and a hydroelectric station. Take a rest here before you trek

downhill to get Sin Chai village. Enjoy beautiful scenery on the way back to Sapa town
for lunch.
Free time to discover by yourself in the afternoon and dinner is for your choice. Back to
hotel for shower and then our car will transfer you to Lao Cai station for overnight train
back to Hanoi.
Day 6: Arrive back to Hanoi – Luang Prabang (B)
Arrive in Hanoi Station at around 5h30. Be picked up and transfer to your hotel for early
check in to have a shower, breakfast. You spend your own time until transfer to airport
for flight to Luang Prabang, Laos. Our guide and driver pick you up at airport and go to
the hotel. You relax and entertained by yourself. You overnight in hotel.
Day 7: Luang Prabang - Pak Chaek Village - Huay Thoum Village - Yha Nang
Village (L, D)
We pick you up at your hotel at 8:00 AM then drive up north for about 1.5 hour to reach
Ban Pak Chaek Village where we start the trek. We cross the Ou River by fishing boat
then walk past the scenic village of Pak Chaek. We trek along the valley of beautiful
landscape to reach Yha Nang Village where we stay for the night in local house.
Day 8: Yha Nang Village - Pha Pon (the Golden Mountain Range) - Had Huay
Village - Luang Prabang (B, L)
After breakfast, we walk past an area where H’mong people are paining gold and see the
Pha Pon Golden Mountain. We trek to the top of the mountain that offers a great view
and stop for local picnic lunch. We continue the trek from Pha Pon Area to Ban Hat Huay
Village of Khmu ethnic minority. From here, we return to Luang Prabang.
Day 9: Luang Prabang – Siem Reap (B)
After breakfast, you catch a flight to Siem Reap and you are picked up at Siem Reap
international airport and welcomed by our staff. Transfer to your hotel and visit of
Artisans d'Angkor workshops, tour to the old market and Pub Street. You will be
overnight in hotel in Siem Reap.
Day 10: Siem Reap – Angkor Temples (B)
Breakfast is at hotel, then our guide will take you to Preah Ang Chheck, Ang Chhorm
(The main shrine in Siem Reap) for the Siem Reap orientation. You visit to Angkor Wat
temple. In the afternoon, you visit to Angkor Thom City (South Gate, Bayon, Terrace of
Elephant, and Terrace of lapper King. You overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.
Day 12: Siem Reap – Angkor Temples (B)

Breakfast at hotel, visit to Prasat Kravan (Brick temple – 10th BC), Ta Prohm (Jungle
temple), and then we walk about 3 km to one small temple in the forest. Continue to
victory Gate of Angkor Thom, Preah Khan and Neak Pean temples. Dinner is at your
won (Recommends: Khmer Kitchen, Molopor restaurants) and overnight at hotel in Siem
Reap.
Day 13: Siem Reap – Angkor Temples (B/D)
Early morning, visit the sunrise at Phnom Bakheng Hill (Elderly is not recommended),
the view of surroundings is amazing which we can view the site of Angkor through the
forest. Back to hotel for breakfast, and then visit to Banteay Srei (Lady temple which is
the most beautiful temple in Cambodia with carving).
In the afternoon, visit to Rolous Group, Lolie (Brick temple) along with the Pagoda,
continue to Orphan Center which are training the orphan to make leather carving (Cow
and water buffalo), Bakhong Temple for another 30 minutes. Before come back to Siem
Reap our tour guide will take to visit one of two Khmer families to know deeply about
the life at the countryside (house, Kitchen, life experience). farewell dinner is at Bopha
Angkor Restaurant and overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.
Day 14: Siem Reap – Departure (B)
Breakfast at hotel, visit to Floating Village at Tonle Sap Lake, and free at your own at the
Old Market until transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for departure.

Food: All meals, which are indicated in the itinerary, are included in the price of this trip.
In big towns we will enjoy Laotian cuisine in fine restaurants. Once we travel away from
big towns, the emphasis will be on healthy and nutritious fresh local produce. Please
inform us at the time of booking if you have any special dietary requirement.
Home-stay: Home-stay in villages is basic in term of bedding condition and toilet. We
will stay overnight in the traditional house of the locals. We will be provided with
mattress, clean sheet, pillows and mosquito nets. Toilet could be some steps away from
the house.
Tour guide: The tour will be guided by our local tour guides who are experienced in
guiding adventure tours. They have been carefully trained in their specialized field. They
are also fully licensed in tour guiding by the government. In addition, they have been
trained in first-aid and they know how to deal with difficult situations. You will have a
great time traveling with them.
The trekking day: A typical trekking day starts at about 8.00 am or 8.30 am after
breakfast. Lunch times can vary depending on the distance. We aim to reach the next

overnight stop by 4.30 pm or 5.00 pm. During the trek we will have short breaks for rest,
snack and photographing.
What to bring: Hat, sun-scream, torch, swim suit and sarong for bathing, clothes/shoes to
get wet, mosquito repellent, warm change of clothes for the evening.
