This was a presenation to PRSA Georgia's Indpendent Counselors special interest group held on March 15, 2012.
We explored the evolving social media landscape and provided greater insight into the changes Facebook will be making to Pages at the end of March along with detailed information about the new players Google+ and Pinterest among others.
Highlights included recent innovations/additions to each platform, potential (rumored) integrations, privacy/publicity strategies, case studies of businesses/organizations who are active/effective in the space, and the advantages/disadvantages for consumers and businesses.
We discussed how consumer behavior on these emerging networks can shape future campaigns, regardless of clients' social media use.
