1. Letter from Poland to Wales
Dear Eifiona,
some time ago you sent us "a letter" from Thomas - one of your
students. He asked someone from Poland to reply, so I send you
two letters written by our pupils.

Hello Thomas!
Nice to meet you. My name’s Klaudia and I’m eleven years old. I
come from Poland.
My favourite sport is football and I like Leo Messi. Photography
is my hobby. I love POP music, but I don’t like rock. I love pets,
especially dogs and I’ve got one. It’s name is Boston.
I like the Comenius project “Eco school links” very much,
because we do many interesting things. A few days ago we made
eco – Christmas decorations and eco – cards. It was fantastic!!!
I’d like to visit your country and meet you and your friends.

Cześć (hello) Thomas!
My name is Zuzia (Susan). I’m eleven years old. Every day I
walk to school. My favourite subjects are Polish and English. I
like purple and blue. In my spare time I play basketball. My
favourite day is Wednesday, because that day I’ve got two PE
lessons. I have an older brother. His name’s Piotr. He’s sixteen.
I love Christmas. The polish carol Silent Night is called “Cicha
noc”. “Wesołych Świąt” means Merry Christmas. In polish we
say “Szczęśliwego Nowego Roku” for a Happy New Year.
