One of my favorite countries on the planet - Drop dead gorgeous natural scenery including the famous baobab trees.
Huge diversity of cultures and at a fascinating place politically at the birth of a new nation.
SA is loaded with world class game parks, marine protected areas, botanical gardensand world heritage sites.
South Africa has great infrastructure and the large cities offer world class buildings, roads, airlines, hospitals, libraries and schools. Every city also has slums or townships where people struggle to live in homes made of tin or cardboard with no plumbing or electricity.
Many schools still do not have sufficient classrooms for all the students to study inside.
Millions of students are learning from teachers teaching from memory because they do not have access to books.
