The Office of English Programs is pleased to invite you to the
14th Webinar Series Shaping the Way We Teach English.
The series consists of 6 online seminars that cover a variety of topics and are intended for present or
future teachers of English around the world. You can participate from your home, school or office
using a computer with internet connection. Those who attend 4 out of 6 webinars will receive e-certificates.
The series will run from September 10 to November 19 as per the calendar below. Each webinar will
be held every other Wednesday at 7:00 am and at 12:00 pm, Mexico central time (the sessions last 90
minutes).
It’s advisable to join the associated social network (http://www.shapingenglish.ning.com) to view
recordings of the webinars, access various resources, and participate in discussions.
Registration: We have registered four viewing groups for you: two viewing groups at CAALE-CU (at
7:00 am and at 12:00 pm), one at CELE-Humboldt (at 7:00 am), and another one at the School of
Medicine (Self-Access Center at 12:00 pm).
A viewing group is a group of at least 3 people who gather to participate in the webinars logging in as a
single user. They will need a computer with internet connection, speakers, and, depending on the size
