Abstract
A total of 2714 records of average daily milk yield and 2035 records of average
milk yield per day of calving interval belonged to Holstein cows maintained at Nasr and
Esihaqi dairy cattle over period from 1995 to 2001 were analyzed. The aim is to
evaluated sires and daughters genetically according to average daily milk yield and
average milk yield per day of calving interval before adjusting for fixed effects and to
estimate heritability and repeatability for two traits. The General Linear Model within
SAS program (2001) was used to investigate the effects of some factors (season and year
of calving, parity, age at first calving, herd and length of lactation) as groups, on average
daily milk yield, and also to study the same effects except length of lactation which was
changed to length of calving interval on average milk yield per day of calving interval.
Component of variance for the random effects was estimated by RMEL method. The
Harvey (1991) program was also used to estimate BLUP values for sires and daughters.
The overall means of average milk yield was 11.81 kg and the effect of all fixed factors
were significant (p < 0.01) except age at first calving which was not significant .whereas
means of average milk yield per day of calving interval was 9.24 kg and all fixed factors
were significant ( p < 0.01).
The heritability and repeatability for average milk yield were is 0.17 and 0.23
respectively, the same parameters for average milk yield per day of calving are 0.14 and
0.23 respectively. There is a wide range in BLUP values of average milk yield estimated
%ranged from- 2.37 to 1.33 kg for sires and -4.32 to 4.38 kg for daughters Whereas
BLUP values of average milk per day of calving interval ranged from – 0.51 to 1.04 kg
for sires and –3.86 to 5.14 kg for daughters.

  • 1. ‫اﻟﺗﻘﯾﯾم اﻟو اﺛﻲ ﻟﻶﺑﺎء واﻟﺑﻧﺎت ﻟﻣﻌدل اﻧﺗﺎج اﻟﺣﻠﯾب اﻟﯾوﻣﻲ ﻓﻲ ﻣﺣطﺗﯾن ﻷﺑﻘﺎر اﻟﻬوﻟﺷﺗﺎﯾن‬ ‫ر‬ ‫**‬ ‫ﻓ اس رﺷﺎد اﻟﺳﺎﻣ اﺋﻲ* و ﺳﻌدي ﺷﻌﻼن ﺧﻠف‬ ‫ر‬ ‫ر‬ ‫*‬ ‫ي/ ﺟﺎﻣﻌﺔ ﺑﻐداد‬ ‫ﻛﻠﯾﺔ اﻟطب اﻟﺑﯾطر‬ ‫**‬ ‫ﻛﻠﯾﺔ اﻟز اﻋﺔ/ ﺟﺎﻣﻌﺔ اﻻﻧﺑﺎر‬ ‫ر‬ ‫اﻟﺧﻼﺻﺔ‬ ‫ﺷﻣل اﻟﺑﺣث 4172 ﺳﺟل ﻋن ﻣﻌدل اﻧﺗﺎج اﻟﺣﻠﯾب اﻟﯾوﻣﻲ و 5302 ﺳﺟل ﻋن ﻣﻌدل اﻧﺗﺎج اﻟﺣﻠﯾب ﻟﻛل‬ ‫ﯾوم ﻟﻠﻣدة ﺑﯾن ﻻدﺗﯾن ﺗﻌود اﻟﻰ ﻣﺣطﺗﻲ اﻟﻧﺻر واﻻﺳﺣﺎﻗﻲ ﻟﻠﻣدة ﻣن ﻋﺎم 5991 وﻟﻐﺎﯾﺔ ﻋﺎم 1002 ، ﺑﻬدف اﺟ اء‬ ‫ر‬ ‫اﻟو‬ ‫ر‬ ‫ﺗﻘﯾﯾم و اﺛﻲ ﻟﻶﺑﺎء واﻟﺑﻧﺎت وﻓق اﻟﻣﻘﯾﺎﺳﯾن اﻟﻣﺷﺎر اﻟﯾﻬﺎ آﻧﻔﺎ ، ﺑﻌد اﻟﺗﻌدﯾل ﻟﺗﺄﺛﯾر اﻟﻌواﻣل اﻟﺛﺎﺑﺗﺔ ) ‪( fixed effects‬‬ ‫، ﻓﺿﻼ ﻋن ﺗﻘدﯾر اﻟﻣﻛﺎﻓﻰء اﻟو اﺛﻲ واﻟﻣﻌﺎﻣل اﻟﺗﻛر ي ﻟﻬﻣﺎ .‬ ‫ار‬ ‫ر‬ ‫اﺳﺗﻌﻣﻠت طرﯾﻘﺔ اﻻﻧﻣوذج اﻟﺧطﻲ اﻟﻌﺎم ) ‪ ( General Linear Model‬ﺿﻣن اﻟﺑرﻧﺎﻣﺞ اﻻﺣﺻﺎﺋﻲ‬ ‫)1002 ( ‪ SAS‬ﻟد اﺳﺔ ﺗﺄﺛﯾر اﻟﻌواﻣل اﻟﺛﺎﺑﺗﺔ ) ﻓﺻل وﺳﻧﺔ وﺗﺳﻠﺳل ﻻدة واﻟﻌﻣر ﻋﻧد ﻻدة اﻻوﻟﻰ وطول ﻣوﺳم‬ ‫اﻟو‬ ‫اﻟو‬ ‫ر‬ ‫اﻟﺣﻠﯾب واﻟﻘطﯾﻊ ( وﻋﻠﻰ ﺷﻛل ﻣﺟﺎﻣﯾﻊ ﻓﻲ ﻣﻌدل اﻧﺗﺎج اﻟﺣﻠﯾب اﻟﯾوﻣﻲ ، ﻛﻣﺎ اﺳﺗﻌﻣﻠت اﻟﻌواﻣل ﻧﻔﺳﻬﺎ ﺑﺄﺳﺗﺛﻧﺎء اﺿﺎﻓﺔ‬ ‫و‬ ‫اﻟﻣدة ﺑﯾن ﻻدﺗﯾن ﺑدﻻ ﻋن طول ﻣوﺳم اﻟﺣﻠﯾب ﻟد اﺳﺔ ﺗﺄﺛﯾر‬ ‫ر‬ ‫و‬ ‫ﻫﺎ ﻓﻲ ﻣﻌدل اﻧﺗﺎج اﻟﺣﻠﯾب ﻟﻛل ﯾوم ﻟﻠﻣدة ﺑﯾن ﻻدﺗﯾن .‬ ‫وﻧﻔذت طرﯾﻘﺔ ﺗﻌظﯾم اﻻﺣﺗﻣﺎﻻت اﻟﻣﻘﯾدة )‪ ( Restricted Maximum Likelihood) ( REML‬ﻟﺗﻘدﯾرﻣﻛوﻧﺎت‬ ‫اﻟﺗﺑﺎﯾن اﻟﻌﺷواﺋﯾﺔ ) ‪ (Random effects‬ﺑﺎﻓﺗ اض اﻻﻧﻣوذج اﻟرﯾﺎﺿﻲ اﻟﻣﺧﺗﻠط ) ‪ ، ( Mixed model‬ﻓﯾﻣﺎ اﺳﺗﻌﻣل‬ ‫ر‬ ‫ﺑرﻧﺎﻣﺞ ‪ Harvey‬ﻟﺗﻘدﯾر اﻓﺿل ﺗﻧﺑوء ﺧطﻲ ﻏﯾر ﻣﻧﺣﺎز) ‪ ( BLUP‬ﻟﻶﺑﺎء واﻟﺑﻧﺎت اﻟﺗﻲ ﺗﻣﺛل ﺗﻘدﯾ ات ﻗﯾم اﻟﺟدا ة‬ ‫ر‬ ‫ر‬ ‫اﻟو اﺛﯾﺔ ﻟﻬﺎ . ﺗﺑﯾن ﺑﺄن اﻟﻣﺗوﺳط اﻟﻌﺎم ﻟﻣﻌدل اﻧﺗﺎج اﻟﺣﻠﯾب اﻟﯾوﻣﻲ ﺑﻠﻎ 18.11 ﻛﻐم ، وﻗد ﺗﺄﺛر ﻣﻌﻧوﯾﺎ ) أ > 10.0 (‬ ‫ر‬ ‫ﺑﺟﻣﯾﻊ اﻟﻌواﻣل اﻟﺛﺎﺑﺗﺔ اﻟﻣدروﺳﺔ ﺑﺄﺳﺗﺛﻧﺎء ﺗﺄﺛﯾر اﻟﻌﻣر ﻋﻧد ﻻدة اﻻوﻟﻰ ، اذ ﻟم ﯾﻛن ﻣﻌﻧوﯾﺎ ، ﻓﯾﻣﺎ ﺑﻠﻎ ﻣﻌدل اﻧﺗﺎج‬ ‫اﻟو‬ ‫اﻟﺣﻠﯾب ﻟﻛل ﯾوم ﻟﻠﻣدة ﺑﯾن ﻻدﺗﯾن 42.9 ﻛﻐم وﻗد ﺗﺄﺛر ﻣﻌﻧوﯾﺎ ) أ > 10.0 ( ﺑﺟﻣﯾﻊ اﻟﻌواﻣل اﻟﻣدروﺳﺔ . ﺑﻠﻎ‬ ‫و‬ ‫ار‬ ‫ر‬ ‫اﻟﻣﻛﺎﻓﻰء اﻟو اﺛﻲ واﻟﻣﻌﺎﻣل اﻟﺗﻛر ي ﻟﻣﻌدل اﻧﺗﺎج اﻟﺣﻠﯾب اﻟﯾوﻣﻲ 71.0 و 32.0 ﻓﯾﻣﺎ ﺑﻠﻐت اﻟﺗﻘدﯾ ات اﻟﻣﻧﺎظ ة ﻟﻬﺎ‬ ‫ر‬ ‫ر‬ ‫ﺑﺎﻟﻧﺳﺑﺔ ﻟﻣﻌدل اﻧﺗﺎج اﻟﺣﻠﯾب ﻟﻛل ﯾوم ﻟﻠﻣدة ﺑﯾن ﻻدﺗﯾن 41.0‬ ‫اﻟو‬ ‫و 32.0 ﺑﺎﻟﺗﻌﺎﻗب .وﺑﻠﻐت ﺗﻘدﯾ ات ﻗﯾم اﻟﺟدا ة‬ ‫ر‬ ‫ر‬ ‫ر‬ ‫اﻟو اﺛﯾﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺣدﻫﺎ اﻻدﻧﻰ واﻷﻋﻠﻰ ﻟﻶﺑﺎء ﺑﺎﻟﻧﺳﺑﺔ ﻟﻣﻌدل اﻧﺗﺎج اﻟﺣﻠﯾب اﻟﯾوﻣﻲ – 73.2 و 33.1 ﻛﻐم وﻟﻠﺑﻧﺎت –‬ ‫23.4 و 83.4 ﻛﻐم ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﺗواﻟﻲ ، ﻓﯾﻣﺎ ﺑﻠﻐت ﺗﻘدﯾ ات اﻟﺟدا ة اﻟو اﺛﯾﺔ ﻟﻣﻌدل اﻧﺗﺎج اﻟﺣﻠﯾب ﻟﻛل ﯾوم ﻟﻠﻣدة ﺑﯾن‬ ‫ر ر‬ ‫ر‬ ‫اﻟو‬ ‫ﻻدﺗﯾن ﻛﺣد ادﻧﻰ واﻋﻠﻰ – 15.0 و 40.1 ﻛﻐم ﻟﻶﺑﺎء و – 68.3 و 41.5 ﻛﻐم ﻟﻠﺑﻧﺎت ﺑﺎﻟﺗﻌﺎﻗب.‬ ‫‪Genetic evaluation of sires and daughters for average daily milk yield in‬‬ ‫‪two stations of Holstein cows‬‬ ‫**‪Firas R.   • 2. ** Dep. of Animal Resources- College of Agriculture/ University of Al-Anbar Abstract A total of 2714 records of average daily milk yield and 2035 records of average milk yield per day of calving interval belonged to Holstein cows maintained at Nasr and Esihaqi dairy cattle over period from 1995 to 2001 were analyzed. The aim is to evaluated sires and daughters genetically according to average daily milk yield and average milk yield per day of calving interval before adjusting for fixed effects and to estimate heritability and repeatability for two traits. The General Linear Model within SAS program (2001) was used to investigate the effects of some factors (season and year of calving, parity, age at first calving, herd and length of lactation) as groups, on average daily milk yield, and also to study the same effects except length of lactation which was changed to length of calving interval on average milk yield per day of calving interval. Component of variance for the random effects was estimated by RMEL method. The Harvey (1991) program was also used to estimate BLUP values for sires and daughters. The overall means of average milk yield was 11.81 kg and the effect of all fixed factors were significant (p < 0.01) except age at first calving which was not significant .whereas means of average milk yield per day of calving interval was 9.24 kg and all fixed factors were significant ( p < 0.01). The heritability and repeatability for average milk yield were is 0.17 and 0.23 respectively, the same parameters for average milk yield per day of calving are 0.14 and 0.23 respectively. There is a wide range in BLUP values of average milk yield estimated %ranged from- 2.37 to 1.33 kg for sires and -4.32 to 4.38 kg for daughters Whereas BLUP values of average milk per day of calving interval ranged from – 0.51 to 1.04 kg for sires and –3.86 to 5.14 kg for daughters. ‫اﻟﻣﻘدﻣﺔ‬ ‫ﻟﻠﺻﻔﺎت اﻻﻧﺗﺎﺟﯾﺔ اﻫﻣﯾﺔ ﻛﺑﯾ ة ﻓﻲ ﻣﺷﺎرﯾﻊ اﺑﻘﺎر اﻟﺣﻠﯾب ﻻﻧﻬﺎ ﺗﻣﺛل اﻟﻣورد اﻟرﺋﯾﺳﻲ ﻟﻠﻌﺎﺋد اﻻﻗﺗﺻﺎدي ﻓﻲ‬ ‫ر‬ ‫ﺗﻠك اﻟﻣﺷﺎرﯾﻊ ، وﻗد اﺟرﯾت اﻟﻌدﯾد ﻣن اﻟد اﺳﺎت ﻓﻲ اﻟﻌ اق ﻓﻲ ﻣﺎ ﯾﺧص اﻻداء اﻻﻧﺗﺎﺟﻲ ﻷﺑﻘﺎر اﻟﻬوﻟﺷﺗﺎﯾن ﻻﺳﯾﻣﺎ‬ ‫ر‬ ‫ر‬ ‫اﻧﺗﺎج اﻟﺣﻠﯾب ،وﻗد ﺗﻧﺎوﻟت اﻟﺑﻌض ﻣن ﻫذﻩ اﻟد اﺳﺎت ﻣﻌدل اﻧﺗﺎج اﻟﺣﻠﯾب اﻟﯾوﻣﻲ ، اﻻ ان ﺻﻔﺔ ﻣﻌدل اﻧﺗﺎج اﻟﺣﻠﯾب‬ ‫ر‬ . ‫ﻟﻛل ﯾوم ﻟﻠﻣدة ﺑﯾن ﻻدﺗﯾن ﻟم ﺗدرس ﺑﺷﻛل واﻓﻲ‬ ‫و‬ ‫ذﻛر ﺑﻌض اﻟﺑﺎﺣﺛﯾن ﺑﺄن ﻣﻌدل اﻧﺗﺎج اﻟﺣﻠﯾب اﻟﯾوﻣﻲ ﯾﻌد اﺣد اﻟﻌواﻣل اﻟﻬﺎﻣﺔ اﻟﺗﻲ ﺗﺣدد اﻧﺗﺎج اﻟﺣﻠﯾب اﻟﻛﻠﻲ‬ ‫ ) 3 ( ﻓﻲ د اﺳﺔ ﻋن ﺟﺎﻣوس اﻟﻣ اﻩ اﻟﻰ اﻫﻣﯾﺔ ﻣﻌدل اﻧﺗﺎج‬Deshpande ‫ و‬Umrikar ‫) 1 ، 2 ( ، ﻓﯾﻣﺎ اﺷﺎر‬ ‫ر‬ ‫ر‬ ‫ ( ، اذ ﺗرﺑط ﺑﯾن اﻻﻧﺗﺎج واﻟﻛﻔﺎءة‬combination trait ) ‫اﻟﺣﻠﯾب ﻟﻛل ﯾوم ﻟﻠﻣدة ﺑﯾن ﻻدﺗﯾن ﻟﻛوﻧﻬﺎ ﺻﻔﺔ ﺗوﻟﯾﻔﯾﺔ‬ ‫و‬ ‫ي اﻟﻣوﺟب ﻣﻊ ﻣﻌدل اﻧﺗﺎج اﻟﺣﻠﯾب ﻟﻛل ﯾوم ﻣن اﯾﺎم اﻟﺣﯾﺎة‬ ‫اﻟﺗﻧﺎﺳﻠﯾﺔ ، وﺗﺗﻣﺛل اﻫﻣﯾﺗﻬﺎ ﻓﻲ ارﺗﺑﺎطﻬﺎ اﻟو اﺛﻲ واﻟﻣظﻬر‬ ‫ر‬ .
