1. Steve Jobs was an American
businessman, designer and
inventor. Steve Jobs has widely
been referred to as "legendary",
a "futurist" or simply
"visionary", and has been
described as the "Father of the
Digital Revolution”.
2. Steve Paul Jobs, well known as Steve
Jobs, was born in 1955 in California.
His father was Sirian while his mother
was American but they gave it to an
other family that adopted him. So he
was grown by Paul and Clara Jobs.
At the age of 17 he awarded a diploma
brightly but next he never
graduated.
Early life an early career
In 1976 he founded the “Apple
Computer” with his friend
Steve Wozniak so they
started working in a garage.
When he projected his first
computer he was only 21!
In 1984 the company made the
“Apple Macintosh”: the
first PC with graphical
interface.
3. In 1985 he left Apple because of
arguements anD founded the
«NeXT Computer».
A year later he also bought the
«PIXAR» a film production
company that, in 1995, produced
the first digital movie in the
history («Toy Story») which had a
great success.
In 1996 he returned to Apple
completely changing the company
situation, and probably our way
to live by his great inventions.
It’s enough saying that, under
Jobs’ guidance, the «Apple»
became (and it still is) the most
valuable company in the world!
4. Steve Jobs may just be the greatest
inventor of our age. He thought
about many of the things we use
every day: iPod, iTunes, iBooks,
iPhone and iPad were just a few of
his incredible dreams.
5. In October 2003, Jobs was diagnosed with cancer, and in mid-2004,
he announced to his employees that he had a cancerous tumor in
his pancreas.
Jobs died at his California home around 3 p.m. on October 5, 2011
Jobs had worked for Apple until the day before his death.
His death was announced by Apple in a statement which read:
We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away
today.
Steve's brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless
innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is
immeasurably better because of Steve.
His greatest love was for his wife, Laurene, and his family. Our hearts
go out to them and to all who were touched by his extraordinary gifts.
6. Steve jobs is my hero because he changed the idea
of computer: from a huge machine for scientific use
to a home appliance that could be used from
anyone to do whatever we want.
He taught us to «think different» to «stay hungry
and stay foolish». Simply, he revoluionized the
world.
