As a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University, Grzegorz Piechota explores advances in digital technologies, changes in social behaviour and the best practices in innovation management. Piechota is an experienced editor and news media executive of Poland’s Agora, a leading media company in Eastern Europe. Gazeta Wyborcza newspaper was founded in 1989 by an underground opposition to bring independent journalism to communist Poland. Piechota began his career at Gazeta in 1996 as a reporter in one of the smallest local offices rising to a news editor and a vice-president of Agora Foundation.
