The talk focuses on virtual and augmented reality technologies and examines various devices and technologies in the field of three-dimensional visualization and different applications of these technologies. The author presents a software for 3D interactive visualization, supporting disassembly and assembly processes of specialized equipment that have been developed by the VR-Team. Also, it will give a look at the development process of the presented software.

machines.

nVidia 3D Vision ready stereoscopic computer
system, 3D projector and 3D shutter glasses.
 A specific software project is being performed for a
Hydro Multi-E Pressure Booster System from
Grundfos with Three Identical Grundfos Pumps of
CR(I)E type.

 The aim is to create software application for VR
interactive visualization and animation of assembly and
disassembly for commissioning of Hydro Multi-E
pressure booster system from Grundfos.
The main tasks of this VR application are:
 To train technicians that has to perform these
operations.
 To support the technicians during the disassembly and
assembly processes guiding them to choose the correct
part of the equipment, to be removed/ to be placed
according to its categorization.

passive and active (animation) mode.

 Technicians can examine the selected part from each

 Availability for fast access to specialized technical
information selected for each part of the equipment.

all parts of the equipment and the specialized instrument.
