• We have a common enemy; Indifference!
– The day has come to act.
• We will Cleanup the Ocean, and we have started.
– Unite to –Boyan Slat- at the Ocean Cleanup Project team.
– He started being 19th years old by ideating a way to cleanup
the ocean.
– Today the Ocean Cleanup project has raised, $ 2,154,282 usd
– 38,615 people have given their support, thankfully

• It all started one day when he was diving at Greece and became
frustrated when coming across more plastic bags than fish, and
wondered: "why can't we clean this up?"

• From this day a commitment was born, ½ year later committed fully
to study what caused plastic Ocean pollution, he got to a TEDx
event to talk about his findings and idea to Cleanup the Ocean.
• Just there, that day; everything started.

13. The Ocean Cleanup Manifesto
• We the people, want and will procure a better world. A world in which
the Ocean keeps being our life greatest source. Because of this, we
declare our active involvement by cleaning the Ocean. We will do it
from where we life, from whom we are, but most of all. By recognizing
the urgent need of our acts. We will do so by eliminating from our lives
the plastic usage, by promoting the recycling of plastic, assuring that it
does not end at wasting facilities that pollute the ocean. We will
volunteer, get involved or specifically work within The Ocean Cleanup
project organization.
• We will become a tide that will arrive the shore full of good news.
• We will bath the world with renewed opportunities.
A wave of good news is awaiting for all of us.

• Listen - thoroughly to ideas or comments, and when physically present take advantage
of observing body language to make sure you get the full, real message
• Diversify - change environments, do new things, explore, do things in different ways,
seek new and opposing perspectives
