• QUESTION 31 – QUESTION 40
• ANSWERING COMPREHENSION QUESTIONS
• LINEAR AND NON LINEAR
• KBKK QUESTIONS
Paper 1/
Section E
-Reading Comprehension-
1. First read through the 5 questions given.
2. Then read the passage once to get an overall idea of what it is all about.
3. Read it again. This time slowly and carefully.
4. Read each question carefully.
5. Read all the alternative given ( that is A,B,C & D ) before choosing the correct
answer.
6. Refer to the portion of the passage which is related to each question. Look out for
clues which will help you to arrive at the correct answer.
7. The questions usually follow the development of the passage. The answer to the first
question is found in the paragraph(s) that are before the paragraph which contains
the answer to the second question and so on.
8. You should therefore work through the questions progressively. In this way, you
won’t be wasting time going through the whole passage each time to look for the
answer.
9. If you are not sure of the answer to a question, skip the question and come back to
it when you have finished answering the other questions.
10. If you cannot answer a question, you should:
(a) Read the question and the four alternatives again carefully.
(b) Check the passage again four the answer.
(c) Then cross out the answers that you know are definitely wrong.
(d) Choose the best or closer answer from the remaining answers.
11. For some questions, you have to think of the answers. Although the answer is not
given in the passage, the clues to the answer are given in the passage. Look for
these clues.
12. Always remember to check your answers before you hand them over.
Don’t just say…
You want an “A”
Go for it !!
Till you succeed!!
