The Terrett Court Storm Drainage Improvements project in Fairfax County, VA replaced 113 linear feet of an existing 18-inch reinforced concrete pipe and rehabilitated 70 linear feet of upstream storm sewer system using cured-in-place lining. Description:
The Terrett Court Pipe Replacement project was substantially completed on June 4, 2018. The project
consisted of the replacement of 113 linear feet of an existing 18” diameter reinforced concrete pipe.
Additionally, the upstream portion of the system (70 linear feet) was rehabilitated using a cured-in-place
liner to preserve two driveways and avoid exposing underground utilities. The goals of the project were
to address public safety concerns, rehabilitate the storm pipe and improve drainage through the County
storm pipe system.
Project Overview:
 Remove and replace 113 linear feet of an 18” diameter reinforced concrete pipe
 Install a 70 linear feet of cured-in-place-pipe liner to rehabilitate the upstream portion of the storm
sewer system
 Provide outlet protection to control the erosive stormwater flow leaving the system
 Revegetate disturbed areas with native plants, trees, and shrubs to promote reforestation
