The design of Wireless sensor networks has currently significant attention due to their limitless potential and has great value of applications such as not closely connected environmental monitoring and target tracking. This has been motivated by the development and availability of small, low cost and intelligent sensors. A wireless sensor network is a collection of sensor nodes prearranged into a cooperative network. These sensors nodes are outfitted with limited processing and computing resources. Since radio transmission and reception consumes a lot of power, one of the critical suspicions in wireless sensor network is the inherent limited battery power within the sensor nodes. Therefore battery power is one of the vital parameter for an algorithm design to increase the lifespan of the sensor node. Recent researches have been carried out in investigating diverse aspects in connection with low power routing protocols. In this paper, the focus is mainly driven towards the review of energy efficient cluster “based available routing protocols for wireless sensor network. Wireless sensor network is the combination of sensor nodes where sensor nodes are distributed all over the network. There are some challenges that come into the wireless sensor network n context to energy efficiency, network lifetime, storage and battery backup. The most important feature of a routing protocol, in order to be efficient for WSNs, is the energy consumption and the extension of the network’s lifetime. In this paper, we have analyzed various routing techniques for WSN that increases the network lifetime and energy consumption.

In the past decades, Wireless Sensor Network WSN has become a wide area of research. In WSN, numerous sensor nodes are randomly setup with different energy level. Energy acts as power source and is available to each sensor node in limited quantity. The limiting factor is that sensor nodes are energy constrained and recharging or replacing battery is costly and complex process. This paper explores the different energy consumption factors which effect the lifetime and performance of the WSN's. The main factors which effect the energy consumption in WSN's are scalability, load balancing, reliability, communication, collision, over hearing, ideal listing and latency. Researchers have proved that the node near to sink node discharge very fastly. Apart from these, most of the energy is consumed during the transfer of data from sender to receiver. In this paper effort is made to analyze the effect of different factors on energy consumption in WSN's. Beamforming for millimetre-wave (mmWave) frequencies has been studied for many years. It is considered as an important enabling technology for communications in these high-frequency ranges and it received a lot of attention in the research community. The special characteristics of the mmWave band made the beamforming problem a challenging one because it depends on many environmental and operational factors. These challenges made any model-based architecture fit only special applications, working scenarios, and specific environment geometry. All these reasons increased the need for more general machine learning based beamforming systems that can work in different environments and conditions. This increased the need for an extended adjustable dataset that can serve as a tool for any machine learning technique to build an efficient beamforming architecture. Deep MIMO dataset has been used in many architectures and designs and has proved its benefits and flexibility to fit in many cases. In this paper, we study the extension of collaborative beamforming that includes many cooperating base stations by studying the impact of User Equipment (UE) speed ranges on the beamforming performance, optimizing the parameters of the neural network architecture of the beamforming design, and suggesting the optimal design that gives the best performance for as a small dataset as possible. Suggested architecture can achieve the same performance achieved before with up to 33% reduction in the dataset size used to train the system which provides a huge reduction in the data collection and processing time.

Organizations face a challenge of accurately analyzing network data and providing automated action based on the observed trend. This trend-based analytics is beneficial to minimize the downtime and improve the performance of the network services, but organizations use different network management tools to understand and visualize the network traffic with limited abilities to dynamically optimize the network. This research focuses on the development of an intelligent system that leverages big data telemetry analysis in Platform for Network Data Analytics (PNDA) to enable comprehensive trendbased networking decisions. The results include a graphical user interface (GUI) done via a web application for effortless management of all subsystems, and the system and application developed in this research demonstrate the true potential for a scalable system capable of effectively benchmarking the network to set the expected behavior for comparison and trend analysis. Moreover, this research provides a proof of concept of how trend analysis results are actioned in both a traditional network and a software-defined network (SDN) to achieve dynamic, automated load balancing.

In recent years there has been an increased focus on the use of sensor networks to sense and measure the environment. This leads to a wide variety of theoretical and practical issues on appropriate protocols for data sensing and transfer. Recent work shows sink mobility can improve the energy efficiency in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). However, data delivery latency often increases due to the speed limit of mobile sink. Most of them exploit mobility to address the problem of data collection in WSNs. The WSNs with MS (mobile Sink) and provide a comprehensive taxonomy of their architectures, based on the role of the MS. An overview of the data collection process in such a scenario, and identify the corresponding issues and challenges. A protocol named weighted rendezvous planning (WRP) which is a heuristic method that finds a near-optimal traveling tour that minimizes the energy consumption of sensor nodes. Focus on the path selection problem in delay-guaranteed sensor networks with a path-constrained mobile sink. Concentrate an efficient data collection scheme, which simultaneously improves the total amount of data and reduces the energy consumption. The optimal path is chosen to meet the requirement on delay as well as minimize the energy consumption of entire network. Predictable sink mobility is exploited to improve energy efficiency of sensor networks.

Development of energy efficient Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) routing protocol is nowadays main area of interest amongst researchers. This research is an effort in designing energy efficient Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) routing protocol under certain parameters consideration. Research report discusses various existing WSN routing protocols and propose a new WSN energy efficient routing protocol. Results show a significant improvement in life cycle of the nodes and enhancement in energy efficiency of WSN. In this paper, an attempt has been made to design a wireless sensor network involving the extraction of Pascal Graph features. The standard task involves designing a suitable topology using Pascal Graph. As per the definition of interconnection network it is equivalent that a suitable graph can represent the different computer network topologies very efficiently. Different characteristics of Pascal Graph Topology has been discovered and used in network topology design. Since Pascal Graph gives better result in terms of finding the dependable and reliable nodes in topology, it has been considered for network analysis. Moreover, we propose a methodology that involves the Pascal Graph Topology for wireless sensor network which can analyse and represent the network and help in routing.

Nowadays, Fog architecture or Edge architecture is becoming a popular research trend to distribute a substantial amount of computing resources, data processing and resource management at the extreme edge of the wireless sensor networks (WSNs). Industrial communication is a research track in next generation wireless sensor networks for the fourth revolution in the industrial process. Adopting fog architecture into Industrial communication systems is a promising technology within sensor networks architecture. With Software Defined Network (SDN) architecture, in this paper, we address edge controller placement as an optimization problem with the objective of more robustness while minimizing the delay of network management and the associated synchronization overhead. The optimization problem is provided and modelled as submodular function. Two algorithms are provided to find the optimal solution using a real wireless network to get more realistic results. Greedy Algorithm and Connectivity Ranking Algorithm are provided. Greedy algorithm outperforms connectivity ranking algorithm to find the optimum balance between the different metrics. Also, based on the network operator preference, the number of edge controllers to be placed will be provided. This research paper plays a great role in standardization of softwarization into Industrial communication systems for next generation wireless sensor networks.

Great lifetime and reliability is the key aim of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) design. As for prolonging lifetime of this type of network, energy is the most important resource; all recent researches are focused on more and more energy efficient techniques. Proposed work is Weighted Clustering Approach based on Weighted Cluster Head Selection, which is highly energy efficient and reliable in mobile network scenario. Weight calculation using different attributes of the nodes like SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio), Remaining Energy, Node Degree, Mobility, and Buffer Length gives efficient Cluster Head (CH) on regular interval of time. CH rotation helps in optimum utilization of energy available with all nodes; results in prolonged network lifetime. Implementation is done using the NS2 network simulator and performance evaluation is carried out in terms of PDR (Packet Delivery Ratio), End to End Delay, Throughput, and Energy Consumption. Demonstration of the obtained results shows that proposed work is adaptable for improving the performance. In order to justify the solution, the performance of proposed technique is compared with the performance of traditional approach. The performance of proposed technique is found optimum as compared to the traditional techniques.

Next generation network will consist of different types of wireless networks like WSN, Wi-Fi, WiMAX, UMTS, LTE and etc. Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) finds unique and special application as compared to the said networks because sensors are deployed in a very secret, awkward and hostile environment like battle field etc. Various wireless sensor nodes are interconnected and form a Wireless Sensor Network. Sensor nodes once deployed in a region, can’t be repaired thus the power system deployed in the nodes becomes a major key issue i.e. how long its battery life can be utilised. Another major issue of WSN is to have a more secured network which is a function of hash keys. Increase usage of hash key means enhanced security but at the cost of power and area. Sensor systems must utilize the minimal possible energy while operating over secured and wide range of operating scenarios. In this paper, we have proposed a novel ID matching mechanism that uses a Bloom filter to realize wake-up wireless communication. Paper uses hash function for uniquely recognizing particular sensor- node- cluster among all clusters. Paper also shows the effect of number of hash functions on performance of wireless sensor node. The design and implementation of a wireless wake-up receiver module simulation reveals that proposed model consume 724nW dynamic power and with bloom filter, the proposed model consumes dynamic power 85% less than the consumption cited in “Takiguchi” model[1]. Dynamic power is further reduced by 10% when parallel processing is implemented. Finally paper provides a novel approach to save the dynamic power and subsequently increases the battery life of wireless sensor node and network as a whole.

In today’s era Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have emerged as a solution for a wide range of applications. Most of the traditional WSN architectures consist of static nodes which are densely deployed over a sensing area. Recently, several WSN architectures based on mobile elements (MEs) have been proposed. Most of them exploit mobility to address the problem of data collection in WSNs. The common drawback among them is to data sharing between interconnected nodes. In this paper we propose an Efficient Approach for Data Gathering and Sharing with Inter Node Communication in Mobile-Sink. Our algorithm is divided into seven parts: Registration Phase, Authentication Phase, Request and Reply Phase, Setup Phase, Setup Phase (NN), Data Gathering, and Forwarding to Sink. Our approach provides an efficient way to handle data in between the intercommunication nodes. By the above approach we can access the data from the node which is not in the list, by sharing the data from the node which is approachable to the desired node. For accessing and sharing we need some security so that the data can be shared between authenticated nodes. For this we use two way security approach one for the accessing node and other for the sharing.
