The students Paolo, Ayra, Carlos, Degi, and Sayoko conducted an experiment comparing different car park drop off systems to determine which was smoother. They collected data through various methods, analyzed the results, and presented their findings, ultimately concluding one system was better while also providing suggestions to further improve the project in the future.
Hypothesis: It will take longer to get picked up from the parking lot than from the drop off.Research question: Many people say that it is more convenient to get picked up or dropped off at the parking is it true?
To collect our data, we will be going down to two locations (the drop off and the parking lot) and follow a car from entrance to exit. We will collect data 3 times a day for 3 days and average the data.
1) have one person go down to one place 3 times (before school, lunch, afterschool) 2 people per day (2 places)2) find a car and time how long it takes to get to the other end3) convert the data in seconds4) average the data5) make a graph displaying your findings
We found that getting picked up at the parking lot takes a lot longer than it does when you get picked up at the drop off. In fact, it takes almost twice as long to be picked up from the parking than the drop off.
