See links in blue. You will begin to get “followers.” It’s wise to check out who they are periodically. Choose who you follow carefully. Follow mostly organizations rather than individuals.

Other Cool Tools http://issuu.com Issuu – free tool where you download PDFs of your publications, it turns them into web pubs where you can turn pages, zoom, etc. You can also place the web pub on your website. Photobucket, Flickr, and other photo sharing sites. Some give you the ability to make slideshows from your photos. They give you an embed code that you paste into the news section of your website.
39. Scribd – document sharing site. Share white papers, programs, presentations, etc. Lots of non-profits on Scribd. Slideshare – People sharing their Powerpoint slide presentations.
A good example of how non profits are using Facebook. Convoy of Hope, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, has served more than 40 million people in the world through international children’s feeding initiatives, community outreaches, disaster response. They feed more than 34,000 children in El Salvador, Haiti, Kenya, Nicaragua and the Philippines. Good nutrition, clean and safe drinking water, instruction on agricultural techniques, healthy living environments and education.
YouTube will give you a Google Donate button for your YouTube channel. You will be added to their Nonprofit channels and the Nonprofit videos page. Provide lots of assistance in setting up pages.
