2. National Country Market
National Country Market (NCM) is the advertising sales
division for the network of twenty-three consumer magazines we
represent. Our role is to work with advertisers and their agencies
to help plan, coordinate and place advertising in our magazines
whether it is for national, regional or statewide coverage. As a
non-profit organization owned by the magazines, NCM provides
the best opportunities and lowest prices available.
3. History Matters
In the 1940s after the cooperatives were
formed to supply power for rural home
and land owners, the statewide
associations began to publish and
distribute their magazines as a
communications tool for members. As
member/owners of the cooperative,
readers influenced and contributed to the
editorial direction and content. Articles
range from energy saving tips and home
improvement to gardening, recipes and all
things in between that represent home,
family and quality of life.
4. History Matters
Today each cooperative maintains a
customized edition just for its members
providing local co-op news and community
events. It’s no surprise that subscribers are
so dedicated to reading their own monthly
magazine. This dedication has created a
unique bond of trust and loyalty that is
unheard of in the magazine industry.
