What is a recommended products block

▪ The recommended products block allows you to display the products on
the storefront according to the users activity

▪ This block will display your product image, name, price and links to Add
to cart, Add to compare and Add to wish list

How to configure recommended products block

Step 1:
▪ Log in to your store admin panel with your login id and password

▪ Click on ‘Design’ tab and select ‘Store Design’ link from drop down menu

▪ This will direct you to ‘Store design’ page

Step 2:
▪ On your ‘Store Design’ page, select ‘Customize’ button to configure the

Step 3:
▪ Now, you can see the design tool bar on the home page of your store

▪ Click on ‘Content’ editor located on the top right of this page

Step 4:
▪ You will see a ‘Content editor’ bar at the bottom of the ‘Customize page’

▪ Click on ‘Manage content’ menu to configure the recommended products
on your eshopbox website

Step 5:
▪ Now a pop up box of Content configuration will open

▪ Select the ‘Body’ link from the header of ‘Content Configuration’

Step 6:
▪ Now scroll down with the ‘Scroll bar’ and select ‘Recommended Products’
block

▪ Click on ‘Select & configure’ to configure the recommended products
block

Step 7:
▪ ‘Block title’ of the ‘recommended product’ block can be modified

▪ Select the number of products you want to display under the
recommended products block from the ‘Display count’ drop down menu

Step 8:
▪ The products name that are displayed under recommended products
block are contained in ‘Block content’
▪ The products name in the block content are not editable

Step 9:
▪ Use scroll bar to scroll down the window and ‘Select view’ under the
‘Display in’ drop down menu
▪ List and Grid view will list your products on the store either vertically or
horizontally respectively
▪ Your products will be visible on the store front according to the view you
have selected under the ‘Display in’ drop down menu

Step 10:
▪ Choose the location of recommended products block among left, main
and right body block under the ‘Location’ drop down menu
▪ Recommended products block will be visible on the location of your
homepage you have selected here like main body block

▪ Select the visibility among ‘Visible’ or ‘Hidden’ from ‘Visibility’ drop down
menu
▪ Now click on ‘Save’ button to apply the changes

▪ A ‘Changes saved Successfully’ message will appear at the top centre of
the page
▪ Now click on ‘Save & Exit’ to save all the changes
▪ Clicking on ‘X’ will undo all the changes you have made on your

▪ You have successfully configured the recommended products block
▪ Now you can view these changes in real time on your website
