Indra Krishnamurthy Nooyi is the CEO of PepsiCo, having worked her way up through the company since joining in 1994. She was born in Chennai, India and received degrees in chemistry and business before working for textile and consumer goods companies in India and the UK. Nooyi faced challenges as a woman and immigrant pursuing her education in the US, but persevered.
