Summary of results, Question 1 Enhancement attributes (n=17) Links to project websites ranks highest, along with online text availability. Less valued are other kinds of hyperlinking, including links to source data. Links to educational resources and social networking opportunities are considered least relevant.
Summary of results, Question 2 Content attributes (n=17) Respondents are most likely to contribute links to their own project sites, and on the whole are unlikely to contribute much else, although pictures, links to network sites (e.g. LinkedIn) and links to third-party sites can feature.
Summary of results, Question 3 Effort attributes (n=17) Respondents are uniformly non-committal. Somewhat contradictory, ‘possible interest’ peaks at community-forming collaboration (blogs). Respondents are most likely (by a small margin) to provide feedback in aid of improving the website’s content.
