The document discusses the legislative branch of the XU-Central Student Government. It has three sentences:
The legislative branch has the power to make, change, and repeal laws. It is one of three branches of government, along with the executive and judiciary branches, and is responsible for respecting college councils, creating a general plan of action, passing bills, allocating funds, overseeing implementation and monitoring, and confirming appointments. A bill requires approval from the president to become law, while a resolution stands for only one year; the legislative branch drafts bills and resolutions and the process includes multiple readings and distributions to members.
