• Worked 16 years for CSC
Australia; PT academic at Sydney,
UNSW, RMIT & UTS
• Joined The Hong Kong Polytechnic
University in March 2005 full time

• Highly diversified culture among Asian
countries
• Non-uniform English standard
• Respect and “power-distance” prevail
• New to hosting international students
• Affluent families still prefer US & UK universities
• F2F delivery is value higher than e-delivery
• HK is transitioning from 3 years to 4 years UG
degree
