3. STEP ONE
To ensure you don’t want to loose any of your work, the first thing to do is
set up a folder on your memory stick named after your project.
4. STEP TWO:
Once you have made your folder you should then make three new folder
inside the project folder
Footage- This will contain your footage
Sounds- This will contain all your sounds
Archive – This folder will contain your pictures.
5. STEP THREE
After making your new folders you can open Premiere Pro
This what the screen will look like
Click ‘new project’
6. STEP FOUR
After clicking ‘New Project’ this box will appear. Next you Have to name
Your Project.
You will have to direct it to the right folder you want your project to be
saved in using the ‘Browse’ button
7. STEP FIVE
Make sure you project is saved in the correct format.
Make sure your project is saved at DV- PAL and standard 48kHz
9. STEP ONE
In order for you footage to work on Premiere Pro you have to convert the
file into QuickTime.
To do this open Adobe Media encoder.
10. STEP TWO
Click the ‘Add’ button to find your footage then click ‘Start Queue’
11. STEP THREE
Once all your clips have been added to the encoder you need to change the
footage to QuickTime.
All clips should automatically change if this doesn’t happen you will have
to change one manually. Once all your clips have been converted press
start queue. This sometimes takes a while.
13. IMPORTING
You need To import all your Footage, sounds and picture, to do this click on
File
Import
Then find your files and click Open.
14. STEP ONE
Double click the scene you want to use and it will appear in the left hand
screen.
15. STEP TWO
To watch your footage simply use the play button, or your can drag the blue
bar through to the part you want.
You can cut down your footage on this screen as well by using the ‘I’ and
‘O’ on the keyboard.
16. STEP THREE
Now you need to move your footage onto the time line, you can do this in
three ways
To move sound only drag the sound icon (speaker) onto your timeline.
To only move the film without sound, drag the film icon onto your timeline.
To move the sound and film together simply click on the footage and drag it
onto your timeling.
17. STEP FOUR
Now you can move onto Transitions and effects
They can both be found on the bottom left hand side. Simply drag them onto
your clip.
To control the effect, go to the control panel which is found in your
source panel
18. STEP FIVE
Once you have completed your work you need to export it, to do this you
have to go to
File
Export-media
All you have to do is press export and Adobe will do the rest for you.
