Spot turmeric gains on upcountry orders.
Spot turmeric prices gained Rs 200 a quintal on the back of
upcountry orders and increasing price in other major trading
centres.“Price of the turmeric has increased in Warangal,
Nizamabad and Sangli, which has reflected in Erode and the
traders quoted higher price and purchased huge stock. For the
past few days.
 Trading tip: Chana futures up 0.75 pc on better spot demand
Chana prices rose by Rs 25 to Rs 3,358 per quintal in futures

trade as speculators enlarged their positions on rising demand
Above 3400 in the spot market. Restricted arrivals in the physical market
also influenced the chana prices at futures trade. At the
TGTS- 3430/3470 National Commodity Derivatives Exchange, chana for May
contract rose Rs 25, or 0.75 per cent to Rs 3,358 per quintal

with an open interest of 47,320 lots.
