Stittsville residents have been asking for a public high school for over 20 years. Stittsville is a fast growing community that has doubled in the last 10 years and expecting to double again within eight years from now. Surprisingly, there is only one high school (a Catholic one).

a
huge

Students

Some
parents

their

some
parents
decide
for
them.
Our
family
has
had
many
conversa5ons
about
this
when
my
son
was
going
into
middle

and
again
now
as
he
is

He
is

• “Problem
is
not

to
us
wan5ng

it's
that
many
schoolmates
switch
to
the
Catholic
high
school
star5ng
in
Grade
6
or
8,
thus
children
lose
their

The

to

less
courses
are
offered
(as
my
daughter
in
Gr.11

many

And
I
shouldn't

have
her
close

We
