2. RESEARCH: SETTING EXPECTATIONS
• Before you start thinking
about the users or the
site structure, it is
essential that you get a
clear outline from the
clients as to what is
required and expected.
• This will allow you both
to plan the project &
identify key deliverables.
3. RESEARCH: TALK & DISCUSS
• Focus groups work well as
you can generate debate.
• Interviews will allow you to
get direct opinions from
people.
• Always good to use stats.
Google Analytics allows you
to understand traffic to the
current websites.
4. RESEARCH: VISUALISE THE USERS
• When sketching the different
users you need to think of
the following options:
• Name of user
• Age
• Education
• Family background
• Personality traits
• User profile
• Key motivations
• Rhetoric
• Decision Influences
8. ARCHITECT: Hi-Fi WIREFRAMES
• Hi-Fi wireframes are
detailed wireframes.
• They aim to give a designer
& developer the exact
layout to follow.
• The wireframes at this level
need to be pixel perfect.
