2. • Madagascar is a 2005
American computer-animated comedy
film produced byDreamWorks Animation.
• Madagascar is composed by three films:
Madagascar 1, who was released on
2005, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, was
released on November 7, 2008. The third
film, Madagascar 3: Europe's Most
Wanted, was released on June 8, 2012.

3. • Alex, the lion, is the most
important animal at the zoo.
When they are in
Madagascar, he wants to
return because he prefers
the famous but cautive life
instead of the wild life. In the
jungle, the hunting instinct
begin to shows, because of
of the lack os steaks.
Therefore, he attacks Marty,
his friend, and they tie him
to not attack anyone more.

4. • Marty the zebra,
wants to escape
from the zoo, and
live the wild life.
Following zoo’s
pinguins, he leaves
the zoo, and their
friends go to rescue
him. Afterwards,
they are recaptured
and they are sent to
the jungle.

5. • Gloria,
the Hippopotamus, is
the one of the group
who takes care of the
others and tends to
take charge when is
needed and loves to
eat and live the good
life.

6. • Melman the Giraffe is
a hypochondriac who
was transferred to the
Central Park Zoo as a
young adult. Because
of his previous stay in
the Bronx Zoo,
Melman believes that
he's the most
experienced in his
circle of friends, and
he is also very
sensitive.

7. • The Penguins, a group of four consisting of
Skipper, Rico, Kowalski, and Private, spend
their days planning an escape that will take
them to Antarctica. When the penguins arrive
to Antarctica, they are surprised to see a
cold, barren land that they do not like and
decide to take the ship to what they consider
"paradise": Florida. However, having run out
of fuel, they reach to Madagascar. Skipper is
the leader of the group. Kowalski, the
smartest and tallest of the penguins, who
thinks of plans and takes notes for Skipper.
Private is distinguishable by soft English
accent; he is the youngest of the group. Rico
is good with knives, has a lot of explosives,
and is the only one of the four that knows
swimming. Alex describes the penguins as
psychotic (while they say the same of him).
Skipper calls Marty their friend, saying that
both kinds of animals are "black and white".

9. • At his tenth birthday, Martin, the zebra, wants to
escape from the zoo and life in the wild life.
Following some crazy pinguins, he enters in the
city, and his friends go to rescue him.They are
captured and sent to the jungle. When they are
in the ship, they fall to the water and finish in
Madagascar. There, they meet animals, and
they have several problems that finally are
solved and they learn a lot of importants values
of life.

11. • We like this film very much, because it is
very funny and hilarious. It is also a way of
show how important are values, like
having friends, being unselfish...
Moreover, we can see advantages and
disadvantages of cautive and wild life, and
that is very important for an animal to be in
a wild environment.
