#1: Create a business plan around your vision and goals
It is important to have a plan so that you know exactly where
you want to go in your business and the goals you plan to
achieve.
The first step is to take time to write a plan detailing exactly
what your vision and goals are and how you plan to put them
into action to benefit your social media audience.
Are your goals to generate more leads and customers for your
business opportunity or are you promoting a specific brand?
Your business plan will be your guide so you have a way of
planning each day and tracking your results.
Begin your social media plan with one or two central
objectives and once you have achieved some results begin
adding more strategies from your business plan.
This is the art of scalability and stops the overwhelm so
many new marketers face because they try to do too much at
once in their eagerness to grow their business.

#2: Identify your target market and their problems
It is important to know your target market and what
problems they have so you can begin creating content that
meets those need and engages your audience.
Begin by Creating a Customer Avatar
 This is the profile of your target customer
 Become their go to person
 Create a message that appeals to them
 Have a specific person rather than generic everyone
 Connect on emotional level- go deep to get their fears
and deepest desires
Your customer avatar is:
 A specific individual with….
 A name
 A face
 Specific age and job
 Specific demographics and other characteristics that make
them who they are.
Here are some questions to ask yourself as you identify your
target audience:
 Where do they hang out?
 What websites do they go to?
 What do they read?
 What do they watch on TV?
 What do they do in their spare time?
 Who are their heroes?
 Who are they responsible for?
 Who might they let down or fail?
 What keeps them up at night?
As you work through this list this will help you decide the
most suitable types of content to share with your
audience.
Also the best places to share this content where they are
most likely to see and benefit from the information you
post.

#3: Choose your best social media platform
Decide which social media method you want to use first.
This will be the one where your target market spend their
time.
Begin with one or two marketing platforms that you feel are
the ones where your target market are and focus on posting
great content.
Once you have mastered this strategy then start adding more
social media channels. Remaining focussed is the key to
success.
As you continue to build your business and grow your audience,
you can always add the other social media strategies at a later
point.
Keep your eye on your target market and you will soon learn
where they hang out the most.
Many marketers start on Facebook. If you do this check your
insights to see who your fans are.

It is so important that you create engaging content that
draws your audience back for more.
It is vital that you are creating content that is relevant to

in your niche and see what they are doing.
How many times a day do they post and at what times do
they get the best engagement?
What types of content do they get the best engagement on?
Do they use a lot of images and videos and what types get
good engagement?

excellent guide for you as you create a variety of content for
your audience.

with your responsibilities, family and work.
Many new network marketers have full-time jobs so
developing a plan to work your business is the only way to
gain momentum.
A good number of network marketers adapt a plan where
they work their new business in the nooks and crannies of
their day.
To be successful you need to work on the plan that is best for
you and leaves you with a feeling of achievement.

trust’ formula that is so important in network marketing.

audience will help you to know what to keep producing and what to change

you can track your results
Checking these sections in your social media programs helps
you create the types of content that your target markets
enjoys and engages with.

You can also use pixels on your site to track your visitor’s
information and gauge your results to enable you to optimise
your campaigns.
Being able to track your results helps you to focus on the best content
to create and work on profit producing actions.

the network marketer.
Great as these tools might be it is important that you have the right
mind-set and business plan to make your marketing successful.
As you develop your business the methods you use will also be in a
development process. All good business plans need to be continually
upgraded as you see what is working well and what is not.
