Hello! My name is Edwin M. Rutkowski, and this is my visual resume.
I’m an expert performer, 30 years experience.
I’m also an expert producer.
I’m also an expert administrator. Most of my work history is as an Administrative Assistant.
I love my family,
our animals,
our other animals,
And my friends, and the music we make.
In 2009 I was doing pretty well. I was self-employed, and I finally landed a permanent full-time gig “in the biz” and things were looking up.
Then the recession hit.
That changed everything.
The club whereI was working closed down.
Good jobs for someone like me disappeared overnight.
I have a lot of expert skills.
Most of my work experience is administrative in nature. This was my most recent employer.
I also worked for a non-profit organization.
My first admin job was for a chemical company.
I’m also learning a new trade as an electrician, because I like the work, I think it’s interesting and having a “plan b” is comforting.
But ultimately I would love to work in the music business. It’s my dream. Somehow. Some way.
So I went back to school and (am getting) got my Bachelor’s degree.
If the job market continues to slide, we may start our own business. Armed with my new knowledge from Full Sail and my life experiences, I think we can pull it off.
A coffee shop would be nice!
