Scenario
A small games production team based in Belgium, ‘Tale of Tales’ has commissioned me to come up with a series of posters to be
used as concept and inspiration for their upcoming game, as well as to help promote their current games, using the supplied
reference material. It is essential that the artwork conveys the basic idea well in terms of the assigned theme (1970s style) and
that my drawings have an initial ‘flair’, with appropriate colours, type font, layout and imagery. The final artwork must conceive
and communicate my ideas for a 70s theme, in a way that is original and entrancing, yet generally consistent in visual style
throughout my series of drawings, without being predictable.
My finished posters will preferably fit into A4 sized proportions and may either be landscape or portrait, but must be presentable in
a digital visual format. All assets such as imagery must be created by me. I must be careful to make sure that any extra textures or
fonts used include a commercial licence, and/or are recorded somewhere.
Successful completion of this assignment before the deadline could lead to further extension commissions.
