• You will work on this as a group of 2 in the same subject
area – if possible!
• Only one person in the group will do the following:
1. Go to Week 5 page, and look for the Case Analysis Template
2. Click on “Use This Template”
3. Change Title to “Mini Case Analysis”
4. Write your group members names
5. Make the document public and publish it!
6. Share with the people in your group (use gmail accounts)

• Step 1: Fill out Standards and Needs
o You can go to Indiana’s Academic Standards website to get some ideas.
o If you cannot find a standard, just write a learning objective – What
should students learn?
• Step 2: Options
o have at least 5 for this activity; normally you will have 10
• Step 3: What is your decision?
• Step 4: Why is that decision appropriate?

• Go to Oncourse – Assignments – ICW
#5 and submit the link of your Mini Case
Analysis Page of your E-Portfolio

This ICW is using a separate case analysis template. So be sure that students have TWO case analysis template Google documents at this time.
To narrow down the options, you are using the funnel approach. Think about different aspects teachers need to be concerned when making curricular decisions. e.g., student level, characteristics, task difficulty; content relevancy; ease of accessibility; cost of using; time; effective learning method/tool, etc.
