1. HSC Results are out!
Maharashtra state board of Secondary and Higher secondary education has declared results for HSC
examination, yesterday. This is the first time passing percentage of students from Pune division has
raised to 90% as compared to 82% last year. Konkan division has performed best for the third
consecutive years; with passing percentage is nearly 95%.
Nearly 12 lakh students participated in HSC examination held in the month of Feb and March.
Over 5 lakh students appeared for 12th Science stream and their passing percentage is about 94.
Students can print their mark sheet from websites authorized by board. The original mark sheets will be
available to the students from June 10 onwards, at their respective colleges.
Candidates not satisfied with their marks can apply for verification, but only after they receive their
original mark sheets. For verification, the candidates will have to submit the applications before June 20.
The Board officials also informed that the students who wish to apply for the photocopy of the answer
sheets can apply between June 2 and June 21, 2014 and send their applications to the respective divisional
board.
