We met for our environment to discuss protecting our natural and cultural heritage. As the school had moved to a new building with a small seminar hall, students shared information with classmates who could not attend. Students and teachers shared their experiences from previous meetings. The director of Mardin Provincial Tourism and Culture spoke on the importance of protecting natural and cultural sites. The chairman of the TEMA Foundation, which combats soil erosion and protects nature, warned students. The meeting motivated students to take action and brought attention to their project from local media and the community.
