A native of the Northwest, I have been an artist starting very early on, largely self-taught, later earning a degree in painting from the University of Washington. I have maintained a studio in Pioneer Square since 1981 from which I created individual studio works, commissioned paintings, murals and public sculpture. During this time I worked extensively in the ceramic arts through independent studios and workshops. I integrated five years as artist developer working with a software team to further digital knowledge, and also spent many years teaching drawing, painting, ceramics and digital arts. I work in two primary styles. Classical realism and an intuitive imaginative style.
