New Quality Tools

The most commonly used and well known quality process is the
plan/do/check/act (PDCA) cycle.

Another popular quality improvement process is the PROFIT model

P= Problem definition.
R= Root cause identification and analysis.
O=Optimal solution based on root cause.
F=Finalize how the corrective action will be implemented.
I=Implement the plan.
T=Track the effectiveness of the implementation and verify results.

                                                                      15
Productivity
It is a method used to measure the quantity of
output of worker, machine, or an entire
national economy in the making of goods or
services, to produce income.

                                             16
Production process

                     17
Findings
 Manual handling of AC units increase the process
time, production cost, and chances of damage.
 Pallet obstructed when it will enter on the conveyor at
  the turn table.
 New Technology like TPM (total productive
maintenance) are not implemented in the company.

                                                        18
Findings

Neglecting the small things at earlier stage
during the manufacturing is giving problem in
 further process.
There is very good coordination between each
 section of the assembly.
There is ample space for the growth of the
 Videocon brand.

                                             19
Recommendations
They can implement the technology like TPM (total
productive maintenance). Kaizen, Six sigma etc.
They can reduces the production loss by making the
proper taper guide on the conveyor.
They can increase the productivity by placing the small
conveyor to place the AC units in the trolley.

                                                      20
