The Office of the Chief Job Creation Officer was created as a special purpose vehicle for the actualisation of job and wealth creation under the S.M.A.R.T agenda. To this end, the State Government, through the Office of the Chief Job Creation Officer, has launched job and wealth creation scheme comprising the following programmes: 1. Youth Agricultural Entrepreneurs Programme (YAGEP); 2. Skills Training and Entrepreneurship Programme (STEP); 3. Production and Processing Support Programme (PPSP); 4. Development of Agro-Industries; and 5. Microcredit. The job and wealth creation scheme has been tagged OkowaPlus because ofits potential to imbue the participants with life skill
