The theory of tridosha Vayu (vata),Pitta and Kapha(sleshma) are individually called DOSHAS and are grouped together as TRIDOSHAS in ayurveda When these three humhours are well harmonised and function in a balanced manner, it is results in good nourishment and a feeling of well-being in the individual. But when there is imbalance or disharmony within or between them, it will lead to various kinds of ailments. Ayurvedic concept of physical health revolves around these TRREE DOSHAS Vayu is responsible for all movements and sensations, including motor actions in side the body Pitta is responsible for all physio chemical activitis of the body in the form of metabolism, production of heat and energy Kapha is the substance which maintains compactness in the body by providing the fluid matrix to it.
