3. Questions to ask your doctor during menopause Does menopause put me at a higher risk for heart disease, osteoporosis, or other complications? Should I get screened for such complications? Should I be doing anything to protect my heart and bones? I’ve lost my sex drive; is there anything I can do to get it back? I’m experiencing incontinence; will that go away? What can I do about it in the meantime? Do I still need to use birth control? If so, for how long?
