2. Rating Your Smile:!
A-List or D-List?
§ Let’s face it; in our beauty-conscious society, one of the first things
people notice about you is your smile. It’s your greeting card, your
business card, your resume and your facial “mood ring” all in one.
Over the course of my career I’ve discovered that helping people
rate their smiles has helped them come to smart decisions about
what they need to succeed.
3. Rating Your Smile:!
A-List or D-List?
§ So one of my first steps in this post is to help you gauge your A-
List Smile using the age-old Hollywood ratings system to assess it.
This includes:
1.
The “A-List” Smile (4 Stars – ****): This is the Hollywood, red
carpet ready smile that, just like the stars, you’re proud to leave home
with. It’s the type of smile that makes people stop you on the street
to compliment you on your smile and even ask you about your
dentist. People with A-List smiles know it – and are not afraid to
share with the world how confident and beautiful they feel.
4. Rating Your Smile:!
A-List or D-List?
2.
The “B-List” Smile (3 Stars – ***): Although the B-List smile may
have a few minor flaws, it is a smile that still manages to be
presentable. It may not be a smile that is red-carpet ready, but with a
little bit of tweaking using the latest cosmetic dentistry and general
maintenance, this smile has the potential to become A-List!
5. Rating Your Smile:!
A-List or D-List?
3.
The “C-List” Smile (2 Stars – **): If it’s been awhile since someone
complimented you on your smile, chances are you’ve fallen straight
off the A-List, sailed past the “B-List” category and are stuck
somewhere on the C-List; not quite the best but not quite the worst,
either.
6. Rating Your Smile:!
A-List or D-List?
4.
The “D-List” Smile (1 Star – *): This is a smile you’d rather wear at
home; a mouth you feel insecure about anywhere but inside your
own living room or home theater. Not to worry; 5 Steps to a
Hollywood A-List Smile can help.
§ The beauty of my 4-star rating system is that, just like an A-List
Smile, it depends on who’s doing the rating. In other words, it’s
not up to ME to tell YOU what your smile looks like; that’s why
it’s called a “self ” assessment. But it IS my job to help you
understand the pros and cons of each type of smile – and what can
be done to rectify your current smile if you so desire.
7. Rating Your Smile:!
A-List or D-List?
§ In fact, that’s where 5 Steps to a Hollywood A-List Smile was
born...
