Since opening its doors nearly five decades ago, CHC has served a
network of patients from across the eastern region of North Carolina.
With the help of an experienced staff of doctors, nurses, and
volunteers, the hospital offers a number of specialty services to
those under its care, including the following:
Birthing
Through the Brady Birthing Center, CHC caters to the needs of
mothers from pregnancy to post-delivery. After taking advantage of
the center’s birthing education courses, mothers can choose to
deliver in a room specially designed with a relaxing home-like
atmosphere.
3. In addition to providing breast-feeding support and newborn care,
CHC can arrange Freedom calls so military fathers stationed
overseas can be present during delivery.
Sleep Disorders
Certified through the America Academy of Sleep Medicine, CHC’s
Sleep Disorders Center offers numerous sleep services to its
patients. Those who visit the center undergo a sleep-monitoring
process that lasts for an entire night, during which time doctors
record cardiovascular and brain-wave data. With the information
gathered during study, doctors can then provide better solutions for
overcoming sleep disorders.
At-Home Hospice Care
Outside of the hospital itself, patients can arrange to receive hospice
care within the comfort of their own homes. CHC’s hospice care is
designed to accommodate the needs of those who have such
conditions as late-stage heart conditions and cancer.
