My name is Dominic Johnson here wearing 2 hats: as managing director of web design agency Miramedia and also Director of a creative workspace, The House.
- intro to the house, us and how we got involved.
My name is Dominic Johnson and I work for Desk Renter. We rent out desk space and small self contained offices to freelancers and small businesses in Tunbridge Wells.
In 2016 we were asked by TWBC & Kent CC to create and Manage 2 large period houses in the center of Tunbridge Wells with the aim of creating a co-working space for people working in the creative sector.
In this quick talk I aim to give you an introduction to this project - we branded The House
- price and proposition: table of prices
This building has 50 desks, 20 hot desks and a meeting room.
All of our pricing is based on a per desk fee of £225 for a fixed dedicated desk and £145 for a hot desk - the difference is that you need to take your stuff away with the hot desk rental.
With the small offices, we just multiply the number of desks by £225.
We also have a meeting room, event space and garden we rent out to local business and a membership scheme.
Prices start include everything you need to work: Desk, Chair, Internet, Tea, coffee...
Our aim is to make The House a physical focal point for the entire creative sector in Tunbridge Wells.
