6. Print Design Principles
Contrast – Make the differences in font type, size, color, etc, big!
Avoid subtle differences. Go BIG or go home.
Repetition – Use the same style (font, size, color) and elements
(header all the same) through a document. Also,
repeat other things, like my blue boxes.
Alignment – Use strong lines by using left and right align. Avoid
Center align.
Proximity – Group related elements together. The grouping
should make it clear the elements belong together .
