3. Area profile
Our area of operation - Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh exhibits an
amalgamation of unique culture, harsh geographical conditions and
poor socio-economic development. The industrial development and
agricultural production is minimal causing substantial fraction of
families (>70%) living Below Poverty Line (BPL). There is acute lack
of preventive and reactive healthcare awareness/facility and
healthcare affairs need active attention.

7. Founders
Vineeta Prajapati (wife of Late Dr. Prajapati), Secretary/Manager, looks after
field operations and collaborations. She has in-depth understanding of the profile
of area we operate in. She leads a team of dedicated volunteers and members to
assist her in field. In past she has accomplished good results in executing
logistics, publicity, collaborations and event management.
Komal Prajapati (son of Late Dr. Prajapati), President, is an Indian Institute of
Technology (IIT) Madras Alumnus and driven deeply by opportunity to create social
impact. He looks after planning, strategy, fund raising and ICT in use. He aims to
carry forward the vision of Late Dr. Prajapati (former doctor in UP PMS) to enable
poor with low cost quality healthcare facility.
