- elements are augmented (or supplemented) by computer-generated sensory input such as sound, video,
graphics or GPS data.

Snapchat e.g . Sky Filters
- automatically detect sky in images, and repaint them with totally different atmospheric looks
- recognize the sky in a photo → prompt users to choose from a new “forecast” (e.g. starry night, stormy
clouds, beautiful sunsets, rainbow)

 uses GPS to mark players’ location
- phone camera is used to show Pokémon in the real world

→ scans to build up a 3D image of the inside of a patient’s body with different organs automatically colour-
coded by software
→ image is then plugged into the Microsoft HoloLens headset, so that the surgeon sees the virtual 3D organs
on the patient’s body
→ The system is interactive : using hand gestures the surgeon can tap on an organ to remove it from their view,
allowing them to take a closer look at the area they are operating on.

→ shot from the player’s-eye view of the action during practices
→ enables players to receive realistic, repetitive training by visualizing through VR headsets situations they
will face on the field.
→ quarterbacks can review the options and opportunities they missed by going through a play several times
and reviewing each of their teammates’ positions.

From the graph,there are 75% of people who are interested in AR after knowing it.

As we can see,the most familiar applications are medical AR uses,AR handsets and Handheld AR
Equipment.Most of the respondents also agree that Ar brings more convenience to our daily life.

However,there are different opinions on whether the AR will totally replace human workers in the future.Some
agree while some against.
