4. Relevant to the viewing audience- Storylines engaging, sense of danger and mystery What is the TV Dramas message? That anyone can be a hero and that sometimes you need the help of others to accomplish something. Also carrying messages of staying active and healthy and caring for others and the planet. Why do we feel this would be successful and popular amongst kids? Over the past decade their has been a huge boom in cinema attracting the younger generation to see films such as Spiderman, Batman, Ironman and even the Incredibles. This show aims to give children's Television a regular and more realistic superhero, one that is around the same age and does the same kind of activities.
6. Overall Theme The look would fit the theme of comics and cartoons, more child like sketches opposed to professional looking ones. Intro sequence will be based on the idea of a flip book. Cutting from cartoon to real life as if they were the same thing. It will also include many wipes, fly's and other fast moving and fun transitions, keeping it fun and spontaneous. Possible back story through the use of a voice over.
7. Sequence research. Mortified – due to the cartoon element as well as the clever transitions. Ned's Declassified – This is a great example of a sequence that gives the viewer a understanding of the show before you have even watched it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQYmJctb-TQ&feature=related Another thing we found interesting with Ned’s is the split screens, this would allow us to show several sides of a character in one shot, something we hope to look into doing ourselves.
