1) Spending management methods used in Vietnam
• Overall, average monthly household spending of a family is $606
• Average percentage of monthly expenditure accounts for 59% of income
• Use spending management app (42%) and software (34%) are top 2 solutions to
keeping track of the expenses
2) Spending management apps/ software used in Vietnam
• Misa (18%), Money Me (15%), Money Lover (14%) are top 3 most used app/
software in Vietnam
• 68% are satisfied with their current app/ software
• Convenience (38%), Easy to use (19%), Easy to manage spending (12%) are top
3 factors making users satisfied
3) The difficulties in managing spending in Vietnam
• 61% are considered spending management difficult
• Real expenditure is always higher than planned (45%) is the most difficulty in
managing spending
• Specialists (22%), Wife/ Husband (14%), Parents (12%) are top 3 most trusted
people to get advice from
