population with nowhere to go is causing overcrowding and lack of housing. However, this is not a
problem new to the U.S., housing has been disappear since the early '90s. The availability of rental

A solution to this issue may be to take buildings that are being constructed into condos and
apartments and make them into affordable housing; affordable meaning, basing the prices of rent on

My Experience In Counselling
My first experience with counselling was when I was roughly 17 years old. Back then I was a
part of the people who believed in the myths surrounding counselling, back then it was my last
option but I can still look back and say that I took that decision on my own and I was prepared to
face resistance which I did, in the form of my parents who thought that it was an option for people
who had gone 'mad'. Overcoming these resistances I finally went ahead for counselling and to my

Trephining was the most disturbing picture. I am still amazed that people thought that anything
whatsoever could be solved by chiseling away at a person's head. The picture of the skull was
extremely disturbing: I cannot even fathom how horrible it would have been to be a patient of such
practices. Also one would think that after the first gaping hole in a person's head with no results, the
chiseling would stop. However it is obvious by the number of holes in the skull that this was a
procedure that was tried multiple times on one patient. Other than the trephined skull, I also found it

However, this does not solve all the problems of the world. So some would say, why bother trying?
On the other hand another way of thinking about it is – just how bad would the world be without
that money helping out? The government donates money to the charities from us, the taxpayer and
for many people they like to know where their money is going. Many charities are involved in
improving the lives of people around the globe. There are, however always lots of cynical people
who knock charities especially if the money is not spent in our country, believing that 'charity begins

cancer relief, but recently international aid – helping others in different countries is one of the most

We always talked about helping others. I noticed that you love helping people, it gives you joy to
help others, and I think that's something we both share. I understand now, when you cannot help
me, you don't feel the joy. In a way you feel like you can't help me and it may feel like a rejection. I
am not rejecting you when you offer help and I say no. There are times where I should have asked
for help and I didn't, because I thought you couldn't, which isn't an excuse, I should have given
